PEER MILE

The people
you want to meet
are already here.

A shared mile. A coffee afterwards.
Something good beginning between people.

01 / The way we meet

함께 달리고,
마음을 나누는 사이.

We find a rhythm.
Then we find each other.

Peer Mile began with a run on 4 August 2024. We moved together, caught our breath, and stayed for coffee. That was the beginning of Peer Mile Coffee Club.

When we run, something of ourselves comes through: our effort, our rhythm, the way we keep going. Afterwards, a conversation feels a little easier. There is room to be ourselves, and to notice one another.

“함께 달리며 대화를 나누고, 부드러운 권유로 서로를 독려하며 진정한 친구가 되어가는 것이 우리의 목표입니다.”

From the PMCC journal · 28 August 2024
PMCC’s original artwork combines its white and orange logo with a black-and-white photograph of people running along a tree-lined path.

02 / The people make the place

Come as
you are.

Nearly 90 people connected through PMCC.

Before a title.
Before an introduction.
What are you into?

We begin with what interests you, what you’re making, or a question you can’t stop thinking about. Everyone brings a different rhythm. We make room to listen.

A peer is someone you want to share good news with. Someone who comes to mind when things feel difficult. Someone you’re glad to see again.

Tell us a little about yourself

03 / One world, many expressions

Good things begin
between people.

We carry that belief into the things we make,
the people we bring together, and the time we share.

Studio

Make something people can feel.

An emerging creative practice in brand, design, communication and community. We’re interested in how a brand brings people together, and what grows between them.

02

Network

Know the person behind the introduction.

The people at the heart of Peer Mile. We begin with what interests you, what you’re making, and what you’d like to explore. A shared curiosity can be the start of a lasting relationship.

Salon

Leave room for a real conversation.

Shared time, with room for a real conversation. Running and coffee are where we began. We’re exploring intimate dinners, studio visits and listening sessions as new ways to come together.

A principle we return to

People are difficult
to change.
Conditions are
easier to design.

A shared pace. A smaller table. A different first question.
We make room for people to come a little closer.

Original PMCC coffee-club artwork: the hand-drawn white and orange logo over a softly blurred black-and-white café gathering.
A little movement. A little openness.

04 / Field notes

Life, in good company.

A place to begin.

A few people, a shared run, and time for coffee. The beginning of Peer Mile Coffee Club.

A group of PMCC members stands together inside an exhibition space, looking at the exhibition’s opening question.

An exhibition, and a conversation

Follow a shared curiosity.

A visit to piknic opened into questions about art, work, the things we love, and how we want to live.

The circle keeps opening

From running and coffee to exhibitions, cross-training, jiu-jitsu and volunteering. The club grows through the interests its people bring.

A conversation is a good place to start.
